Madison Small Pups
Available Dogs

The following dogs are available for LOCAL NORTH ALABAMA adoption only. No exceptions. Madison Small Pups does not ship pets and reserves the right to reject applications we feel do not serve the best interest of the dog.

Beckett

Beckett is a male 5 month old Pomeranian mix. He will be a smallish medium size dog, guessing about 18 pounds. Beckett is black, a little shy but wants lots of hugs and kisses. He will need chew bones/toys, leash work, and continued potty training. He is now neutered, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, umbilical hernia repaired, and given flea/heartworm prevention meds. Fenced yard is required because he is not leash trained and it’s best for his safety.

Beckett will be great with gentle children. This sweet boy will just need bath, brushing and nail trim to stay handsome. Beckett has an adoption fee of $270. If you are interested in Beckett, apply for adoption by completing the 4 PAGE APPLICATION below. We will select the best home for this sweet boy based on his needs.

  • Kelby

Kelby is a gorgeous male Long Haired Chihuahua and Pomeranian mix or Pomchi. He is 1-1/2 years old and weighs 8 pounds. Kelby has black/white coloring of thick glossy hair that is low shedding. This baby is shy. We think he needs another playful dog to help him learn to be his confidence and/or a patient family to let him come out of his shell. Kelby is neutered, microchipped, wormed, vaccinated, tested negative for heartworm disease, & started on flea & heartworm prevention meds.

The rescue is recommending a fenced yard (no iron type with separated/open areas), children 12 and up, and he actually likes all sizes of gentle dogs. Kelby is working on his leash training, doing well on house manners, and sleeps next to the other foster dogs at night. His main issue is when you go to pick him up... grabbing him quickly will cause him to run & hide. If you let him come to you, it’s better! His foster believes this will get better with patience, time & love.

Kelby needs time to learn trust so a very calm, patient family is needed. Kelby has an adoption fee of $250. Kelby so deserves to feel safe and loved. If you are interested in Kelby, apply for adoption by completing the 4 PAGE APPLICATION below. We will select the best home for this sweet boy based on his needs.
