Madison Small Pups
Available Dogs

The following dogs are available for LOCAL NORTH ALABAMA adoption only. No exceptions. Madison Small Pups does not ship pets and reserves the right to reject applications we feel do not serve the best interest of the dog.

Bella

Bella is a female Morkie or Maltese and Yorkshire Terrier mix. Her owner is not physically able to care for her anymore and wanted to make sure she had a good home that will care for her. Bella just turned 7 years old and weighs 9 pounds. This girl does have the spunky Terrier personality which is playful and alert. Bella does like other small dogs and interacts friendly with them (don’t know about cats but should be fine). Bella is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, tested negative for heart worm disease and worms, and started on prevention medications.

Bella has been around children 8 years old and was good. An enclosed fenced yard is required for all MSP terriers because they like to run free and chase the squirrels! Bella has an adoption fee of $200 and is ready for a loving home to spend all the rest of her wonderful days with. If you are interested in Bella, apply for adoption by completing the 4 PAGE APPLICATION below. We will select the best home for this precious girl based on her needs.

  • Faith

Little Faith is approximately 4 pounds and 11-12 weeks old. The rescue was told her mother was a long haired dachshund and that she is a Chiweenie type breed. Little Faith does have the longer body and shorter legs that characterize those breeds. She was dumped at a shelter a month after her sister Little Grace was dumped at the same shelter. They both had mange and NO shots so a MSP foster raced to pick her up. She is healing and feeling better!

Little Faith is a typical playful puppy and would love children 8 years and up to play with. Her adoption fee is $225 and must be adopted locally to finish her vetting, microchip, and spay. How about some puppy love for the summer. If you are interested in Faith, apply for adoption by completing the 4 PAGE APPLICATION below. We will select the best home for this precious girl based on her needs.

  • Grace

Well, she just did not have a chance....Dumped at a disease ridden dog pound with no shots and mange. She would have died but the shelter director called and an MSP foster took off instantly to fetch her. The first month she had to be quarantined and it was pitiful...Little Grace (2 pounds) all alone 😥 but alive and getting better each day! At first the rescue was told a chi mix and later given info on a long haired dachshund mother so maybeGrace is a chiweenie type breed. After a month , the folks that turned in Little Grace turned in her sister who we named Little Faith. These girls are now 11 weeks old and ready for applications to adopt!

The rescue thinks they are just fine adopted separately so don’t worry about that. Little Grace has an adoption fee of $225 and must be adopted locally so the group can complete her vetting, microchip, and spay! If you are interested in Grace, apply for adoption by completing the 4 PAGE APPLICATION below. We will select the best home for this precious girl based on her needs.

  • Jinjer

Jinger is a 2 year old female Shih Tzu or Lhasa mix and weighs 16 pounds. Her coat is a red and white non shedding thick mass of soft waves. Jinger is timid, shy and her eyes tell you she is unsure that you will not hurt her... then she falls head over heels 😍 in love with you. This baby girl's foster says Jinger has good house manners (has had a few accidents) and needs a fenced yard because she is not leash trained. The rescue had her spayed, tested negative for heart worms, wormed, groomed, microchipped, vaccinated, and started on prevention meds.

The groomer said Jinger was snappy when taken out of her kennel and during the clipping of her paws so that tells us she can be a fear nipper and is not familiar with being groomed. She is VERY laid back, low energy, and likes to lay around the house being lazy. Jinger is needing a home with children 9 yrs or older, can handle dogs up to 40 pounds, and someone who likes to casually hang around the house Jinger with her beautiful gold eyes has an adoption fee of $225. If you are interested in Rhylee, apply for adoption by completing the 4 PAGE APPLICATION below. We will select the best home for this precious girl based on her needs.

  • Kooper

When Kooper was found he had been living outside for over a month. To the best of our knowledge (guessing) he is a 3-4 year old Chinese Crested type terrier mix that weighs 8.5 pounds. Koop was full of intestinal hookworms which have been treated, they are now gone. He is sweet, loving, and good with other animals. Kooper has been neutered, vaccinated, wormed, tested negative for heart worm disease, and has been started on prevention meds. He is not going to need cutting because his coat seems to be the length it’s going to stay but must be frequently brushed.

This little boy will need more guidance on his manners since he lived outside and was not neutered. Koop is doing well on his crate and leash training. This baby is in need of a safe fenced area since he is used to roaming at free will. Kooper has an adoption fee of $200 and is ready to be an inside doggie. If you are interested in Kooper, apply for adoption by completing the 4 PAGE APPLICATION below. We will select the best home for this precious girl based on her needs.

  • Trixie

Trixie is a female Chorkie or Yorkshire Terrier and Chihuahua mix. She is 1 1/2 old and weighs 4.5 pounds. Trixie is a shy dog and a little on the nervous side but we don’t know what she’s been through. She has now been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, tested negative for heart worm disease, had retained baby teeth extracted, and started on prevention meds for fleas. Trixie has tiny thin legs and a slim body with what seems like a fine non shedding type coat. The rescue is afraid if she was left outside on her own without a fence she would hide or run off. Trixie is very gentle, sweet, with a nice personality and you can tell she wants attention.

Trixie gets along with other small dogs and children 10 years (& up) for playmates. Trixie has an adoption fee of $260 and is ready for a loving home. If you are interested in Trixie, apply for adoption by completing the 4 PAGE APPLICATION below. We will select the best home for this precious girl based on her needs.
