The following dogs are available for LOCAL NORTH ALABAMA adoption only. No exceptions. Madison Small Pups does not ship pets and reserves the right to reject applications we feel do not serve the best interest of the dog.

Buddy Boy

Buddy Boy is a male Yorkshire terrier, 5 yrs old and 5.2 Pounds. He is timid at first but a very friendly dog with a great terrier personality. Buddy Boy’s family was no longer able to care for him so he is with us getting ready to approve his new home. The rescue has provided him with a neuter, zdental, treatment for double ear infections, vaccinations, heart worm test (negative), microchip, & dose of Revolution. He is a good boy and gets along five with other small dogs. Due to his small side, children over 8 years and dogs under 20 pounds.

A fence is required for all MSP terriers, no electric fence. Yorkshire Terriers have a non shedding type coat and require grooming. This boy needs a good Yorkie loving lap! Buddy Boy has an adoption fee of $270. If you are interested in Buddy Boy, apply for adoption by completing the 4 PAGE APPLICATION below. We will select the best home for this precious girl based on her needs.

  • Hazelnut

Hazelnut is such a little cutie of a Pomeranian!! This cream colored baby girl is 3 years old and 11 pounds of happy personality. Hazelnut came to us very stinky with patches of hair missing. She is on antibiotics and getting medicated baths to heal her skin. Her coat will be beautiful when it grows back in. Her family had no time for her and her condition truly did reflect that. Hazelnut is now vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, wormed, tested negative for heart worm disease, and started on prevention meds.

This girl has the classic Pomi loving attitude, likes all things, needs lots of attention, and wants to be in the center of everything going on with her family. Please keep in mind Pomeranians are very high grooming doggies and it’s costly/time consuming. Pomi lovers think they are worth it. The rescue is requesting a fenced yard, no electric underground, and children 8 years or older. Hazelnut has an adoption fee of $260 and needs a second chance at life! If you are interested in Hazelnut, apply for adoption by completing the 4 PAGE APPLICATION below. We will select the best home for this precious girl based on her needs.

  • Kooper

When Kooper was found he had been living outside for over a month. To the best of our knowledge (guessing) he is a 3-4 year old Chinese Crested type terrier mix that weighs 8.5 pounds. Koop was full of intestinal hookworms which have been treated, they are now gone. He is sweet, loving, and good with other animals. Kooper has been neutered, vaccinated, wormed, tested negative for heart worm disease, and has been started on prevention meds. He is not going to need cutting because his coat seems to be the length it's going to stay but must be frequently brushed.

This little boy will need more guidance on his manners since he lived outside and was not neutered. Koop is doing well on his crate and leash training. This baby is in need of a safe fenced area since he is used to roaming at free will. Kooper has an adoption fee of $200 and is ready to be an inside doggie. If you are interested in Kooper, apply for adoption by completing the 4 PAGE APPLICATION below. We will select the best home for this precious girl based on her needs.

  • Willy

Willy is a very active and fun male Aussie /Jack Russell/Poodle mix. He is around 25 pounds and 8 months old. The family works long hours so this dog is needing more exercise and attention. Also the other pooch in the home is older and isn't playful. Willy is great with other active dogs and loves kids. Due to his need to run/play outside, we require a safe fenced yard, no electrical fences. He will need brushing /trimming on his thick coat & does shed a little. He is mostly a inside dog, will use a pee pad but desires to be outside running and playing more.

Willy is a jumper and can jump high so would be good agility puppy!! He loves to eat (who doesn't) and with his jumping abilities can help himself to things he shouldn't. We would suggest a chew bone in his crate during family dinner time with little kids. Willy is neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm meds, flea control and has an adoption fee of $150. If you are interested in Willy, apply for adoption by completing the 4 PAGE APPLICATION below. We will select the best home for this precious girl based on her needs.
